The Feeling to return with “I Thought It Was Over” - listen to it here
Music News, Pop Heaven / Pop Hell
I get the “the feeling” (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) that in ten / fifteen years everyone will completely deny liking The Feeling’s first album, Twelve Stops And Home. They seem tailor-made for that kind of treatment - after all, they do target Guilty Pleasures fans with pretty ruthless efficiency. But let’s face it, there’s a lot to be said for quality cheese.
What of album number two, though? Will they disown their loyal fans? Are they going to return with laments at the downsides of fame and fortune? On the basis of their new single, “I Thought It Was Over”, their fans have nothing to worry about.
It’s a stomping, cheesy guitar-laden delight which will almost certainly be another huge hit. It’s not out until February, but as is the way these days you can hear it eleven years before it’s due out.
Listen to it here, hopefully - the file should open in Windows Media.
If not, click here to check out a radio rip someone has kindly put up.
