Scarborough holds free Acoustic Gathering

Festival News

Tom Hingley Scarborough holds free Acoustic GatheringLast year, the Acoustic Gathering, held in Peasholm Park, Scarborough, was a rousing success, which sees the event returning for a second year. The free one day festival takes place on Sunday 16th September and will feature performances from four headline acts, and a number of local groups and musicians.
For free, you get to see Tom Hingley, former crooner in The Inspiral Carpets, as well as Chris Helme, Tasmin Archer (remember her?) , Hayley Hutchinson, Alastair Schmuck & The Pieces, Carl Woodford, Tom Townsend & Jesse Hutchinson, and Mezzo Soprano vocalist Victoria Wright. There will be 22 acts in all, performing from the bandstand on the lake under the gaze of the gloriously rebuilt pagoda. Free you say? Great stuff!
