Radiohead time their iTunes hook-up perfectly

Free Downloads And Streams, Music News

radiohead.jpgThose Radioheads are canny lads. Sure, they might not be too happy with their ex-paymasters EMI releasing a cynical Greatest Hits cash-in just as they’re about to hit the road. But there are other occasions when the band are a little more willing to work with their former label.
To whit: Radiohead’s back catalogue from their EMI days has magically appeared on iTunes for the first time, but only after the band consented for their albums to be “unbundled” (i.e., for individual album tracks to be sold separately).

So that means newly converted Radiohead fans, or those who are yet to own the whole of the back catalogue, will be able to login to iTunes when they get back from the show and download to their heart’s content. And it also provides an alternative to the Greatest Hits album the band are so against.
Like I said - canny.
