bond Penguin and MySpace want you to write the theme tune for the new James Bond... book?! Yep, the new Bond book, Devil May Care, which is being penned by Sebastian Faulks, needs a theme tune. I know, that’s what I thought. But apparently the tune will be used on the audio book release, which comes out the same day - 28th May this year.
Musos are encouraged to submit their entries to the Devil May Care MySpace page by 25th February. A shortlist will be drawn up by the judges - including Brit-Soul legend Jazzie B - before voting is opened to the public on 3rd March.
Got that? Then get composing. Just make sure it’s better than that rubbish Madonna Bond theme from a few years back or you will get NOWHERE.
