New Oasis video for “The Shock Of The Lightening”

Music News, Video

There’s not much point pretending they’re still especially relevant, but to music fans of a certain age (hi!) Oasis will always mean something. Sure, that might be loutish behaviour, or a derivative musical approach, or meaningless euphoria - but it’s something, goddammit.
So here we have their new video. It nicks bits from the Stones’ artwork for Hot Rocks, but fear not, there are also Lennon glasses and pseudo-psychedelic images that reassert their devotion to The Beatles. If that’s not fab enough for you, there’s also a lyrical reference to “a magical mystery”.
