‘N Sync, Backstreet Boys creator goes to prison; Simons Fuller and Cowell still at large

Music News

lou-pearlman.gifHeard of Lou Pearlman? That’s him, on the left. He “created” multi-million selling boybands ‘N Sync and Backstreet Boys, although it should be pointed out that he did not create each individual member.
Mr. Pearlman has now been banged up good and proper by the filth, and not for inflicting ear abuse on zillions of innocent music-lovers. Nope, Lou’s been sent down for 25 years after cooking up a rather tasty scam which relieved numerous people of some money. Around $300 million worth of money.

Pearlman pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy and single counts of money laundering, after swindling not just normal people but even his own relatives and friends out of mucho moolah.
