Metronomy’s “A Thing For Me” video: when karaoke goes bad

Video

Metronomy are rather popular in certain quarters, so I’m not sure how they’ve managed to pass me by entirely. The video for “A Thing For Me” suggests they are at least larksome chaps. You know that thing in karaoke where a ball bounces along the top of lyrics so you know when to sing? In “A Thing For Me” that cute little ball becomes a WEAPON.
It’s rather an inventive clip and, if I may backhandedly complement the creative collaboration, it distracts from what is actually quite an annoying song.
