madvillain Hip Hop Isnt Dead: Stones Throw <em>In Living The True Gods</em> DVD released in FebruaryStones Throw have been a force in indie hip-hop for a while now and always have interesting creative projects on the go, from mind-bending collaborations with Bravo’s Adult Swim to crazy videos for their artists’ tracks.
February 12th sees a DVD, In Living The True Gods, helpfully pulling together a whole heap of Stones Throw goodness. Music videos included on the disc feature the late J Dilla, Madlib and Madvillain, while bonus features include an interview with Dilla and live stuff from Quasimoto and Jaylib. One of the vids on the release is the previously unreleased, low-key black & white video to Madvillain’s 2004 track “Accordion” - check it out after the cut.
