Dispatches From Beardsville: loads more added to Green Man Festival bill
![]()
Whether you’re in the camp that says ‘Green Man is Good! Folk is not a four-letter word!’ or ‘Green Man. It’s getting a bit busy for my liking…’, there’s no hiding from the fact that it’s probably the most mellow festival on the circuit and well worth spending some time at. Now, we’ve already told you about some of the acts that are on the bill (click here) but that’s not to say there’s no mo’ adding to be done. Hell no. There’s another 20 bands just been popped on the bills. Yessir!
Joining the previously confirmed Super Furry Animals and Richard Thompson are Drive By Truckers, MCT faves Iron & Wine, The National, The Cave Singers and the brilliant Caribou. The three day festival takes place at Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons from August 15-17. Tickets and more information about Green Man is available from the event’s official website here: www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk.
