chad kroeger Chad Kroeger wants to be a big rockstar, gets drunk and drives around in his car I don’t think “drink twice the legal limit and then tear around at 160 mph in a Lamborghini” was on that lyrical wishlist in Nickelback’s “Rockstar”, but it didn’t stop Chad Kroeger doing just that last June in Canada. Now he’s gone and been found guilty of drink-driving, and boy, is he going to think twice about doing that again.
Why? Well he faces the possibility of a $600 fine and losing his licence for a year. Which, to a millionaire who probably has his own driver, is pretty tough stuff.

Why, Chad was so devastated at the way he had behaved, he couldn’t actually face going to court. He was convicted in his absence, with his lawyer explaining that, soz, Chad can’t make it because he’s in Europe “recording or producing music”.
Oh, that’s OK then. You know, if this is all the censure one faces for getting tanked up and speeding in a sports car, I might go and do a spot of boozy joyriding right now. Hurrah!
